They said magic happens once in a lifetime, and 1986 was magical
because two newborns came into the world.
I brought joy to my family in Alor Setar as the first son
while she lighted up the little town in Negeri Sembilan.
And we all know how magic never fail to flabbergast -
one up north and the other down south, 380.9 miles apart.
Perhaps the angels got together,
laboured day and night, opening doors 20 years over...
And in 2006, the door was open and she walked through
during USM's Orientation Week for Arts School.
When I saw this tanned girl with natural curls,
I had to create a conversation:
"Are you Chindian?"
And because she was shy, I got a real kick out of teasing her
We became good buddies, hanging out with the same group of friends together.
But it wasn't until 2009 on the 24th day of January, when her leg was hurt
and I was taking care of her that I finally realised what I really wanted
I wanted to be there for her always, always.
So I politely asked her to be mine but she didn't just let me into her heart -
she loves me even more with each beat of her heart.
And they said, if you can't imagine not waking up beside her, and you can't
imagine going to bed without her good night's kiss - she is the one.
After 2099 days of being her other half, I asked for her hand
and again she didn't just give me her hand.
She slips her gentle fingers
through mine as we waltz into the new chapter.
Of course, who better to share this joyful journey than with our nearest family, closest buddies, relatives and friends. We look forward to having you join us on our big day this year, 2015 on the 19th day of July!
Some say it's magic, but I say: it's love.
We would like to capture the memories of our big day with you. Be sure to snap loads of photographs, post it on Instagram and hashtag #seanjenniewedding. We can't wait to see them all!
